HPMC 200K

Very-high-viscosity HPMC for stronger water retention, open time, and vertical stability.

Overview of HPMC 200K

HPMC 200K is a hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose grade designed for higher-viscosity construction systems that need stronger water retention, open time, and vertical stability. It is suitable for tile adhesive, wall putty, plaster, EIFS mortar, and other dry-mix systems that require stronger application body.

Benefits of HPMC 200K

  • High viscosity build for strong application body
  • Supports water retention and extended open time
  • Helps improve anti-sag and vertical stability
  • Useful in tile adhesive, putty, plaster, and EIFS mortar
  • Delayed solubility supports controlled dispersion
  • Practical for high-viscosity construction screening

Typical Applications of HPMC 200K

1.Tile adhesive and high-body dry-mix systems
Suitable for formulas that need strong water retention, open time, and vertical stability.

2.Wall putty, skim coat, and plaster
Useful where higher viscosity, better body, and stable application feel are required.

3.EIFS mortar and repair mortar
Appropriate for systems that need anti-sag support, consistent wet structure, and reliable workability.
